Our premium yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall x 0.25" thick and made from natural rubber with a blended microfiber top surface.   The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip.

Artist's Description

This is a painting I did for my Aunt Yvonne Salazar Shinas. She wanted me to paint her Grandma Kate Duran who lived at 328 1/2 Rosario in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she raised her family of 9 children. My Aunt Yvonne often expressed to me how much she loved her Grandma Kate. How she remembers every detail of her grandma's kitchen: the roses that grew outside of the window, the old stove that always had chile or chicos cooking on it, and the 1950s style table they shared their meals on. I was extremely close to my own grandma, so doing this painting for my Aunt Yvonne was a real pleasure for me to paint! See my work at my website www.VictoriaDeAlmeida.com.

Through my work I always hope to tell a story about my personal experiences as a Hispanic woman. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of New Mexico and my family has been in northern New Mexico for over 10 generations. My work comes from my memories of growing up in a large extended family and my favorite subjects to paint are the people and traditions of northern New Mexico. I have always loved art and have wanted to become an artist for as long as I can remember. My primary medium is acrylic on canvas. I have also enjoyed using acrylic on wood as well.
