Artist's Description

Day of the Dead art is very popular in the Southwest. In the state of New Mexico, where I was born and raised, you see some of the most amazing work from artists of this beautiful Mexican holiday. The celebration takes place on October 31, November 1 and November 2. Dia de los Muertos is a day where families and friends come together to celebrate the lives of those who have passed away. This is my first "muertos" painting and it was a blast to paint!
