The biggest influence in my art has been the memories and experiences I have had being part of a huge, beautiful, Hispanic family. She lived in a little adobe casita near Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The heart of my Grandma's home beat in the kitchen. David, my grandma woke up everyday of her life and made fresh, soft flour tortillas. There's nothing as delicious as homemade tortillas. I miss my grandma and miss the time I spent with her in the kitchen cooking! Thank God for GRANDMAS! God Bless!
